There are so many memories from my time with Erin.
Painting tiles at the palms. Senior week. Vegas. Dozens of weekend trips, long drives and flights together over the years. Summers spent on Keuka in our early 20s. Cornell reunions. Wakeoff on Lake Hopatcong each year. Morning chats on the dock. Water skiing on glass just before sunset. Brooklyn warehouse parties before warehouse parties were a thing. Late nights at the 19 on 27th Street and later at the MFer. Wine tours. Snuggies. Ice Hockey at the Garden. Countless friendsgivings and weddings. Weekends spent floating in the sun talking, laughing, burning off the stress of city life. She was a person who you could lean on without judgement. She loved hard. I'll never forget her laugh. Over a decade of Halloween costumes and St. Patrick's day celebrations. Today when I look out our window and see someone slalom skiing, or when we drive under Brady Bridge on the boat, I see our time with Erin. The lake was our happy place. Her smile was infectious and her heart huge.
Our bond was that we are, and will always be, Lake Girls. RIP my dear friend. 💗💗💗
